This is a typical garage scene from the 1930’s.  Sadly, long forgotten.

Once when the motorist stopped for Motor Spirit and oil they were greeted by all manner of manufacturer’s signs, light boxes and colourfully lit petrol pump globes, promoting their individual logos and products.

Today, automobilia from this bygone era is eagerly collected by those with a passion for the past, an appreciation of colour and design and a desire to obtain the rarest survivors.

I have been collecting such automobilia, enamel signs, petrol pumps, racing posters, Land Speed Record items and related photography for over 30 years and I have seen huge growth in interest from new collectors, many from younger generations which is so encouraging, however, it has meant that values have also risen significantly as we all hunt for those rare treasures. 

The following pages are for reference and interest and show just some of the items in the collection.

I am always endeavouring to add more items as and when I can. And sometimes I obtain duplicates of items that I already have, and in that event, I will offer those pieces to customers and sometimes list them for sale in the "Showroom sales" pages, so do check in on those pages and see.
