The original Lenham GT Spitfire. Original registration number 96 HYM

This famous Mk1 Triumph Spitfire was supplied to Lenham Sports Cars in Kent as a nearly new demonstration model by Miles Limited of Maidstone. Built on the 2nd April 63, despatched to Miles Ltd on the 6th April and first registered on the 26th April 1963, finished in Wedgewood Blue with blue upholstery.

96 HYM was the very first Lenham GT Fastback Spitfire built by Lenham Sports Cars and was used as the publicity car for the company. Complete with all the original Lenham features and period upgrades. Subsequently converted to overdrive. Matching numbers as per original factory records.

Believed to be the only genuine and authentic works Lenham GT Spitfire surviving today.
