According to retained correspondence from owners, the motorcar has never set off on a journey in wet weather conditions.

Purchased from the last owner of twenty five years. Sold by us last year and retained here in storage - never used or re registered and now offered for sale once again.

Such a rare opportunity to acquire what is today a rare quintessential British sports car and surely one of the most original MK2 Spitfires surviving today.
